Everybody knows at least one stereotypical "evil lunch lady".
She's big, mean, and possibly unhinged.
Funk Machine's "lunch lady" follows our worn down protagonist throughout the day as she goes through her routine and begrudgingly gets herself to work.
at the school, she's confronted and mocked by a student, leading to her having a heated argument with the child.
The back and forth builds up to the mentally exhausted woman breaking down and laying hands on the child.
This leads to her having a mental breakdown, ending up on the run as her mind leaves reality.
as the groove starts to shrink our lunch lady accepts her fate winding up in an insane asylum, quite literally paying the time for her crime.
